What is CEREC actually?

The Same-Day Dental Implants Process

Having all surgical treatments completed in a single day requires slightly more treatment planning up front.

During your pre-surgery appointments, we will take digital x-rays, discuss your customized treatment plan, including your aesthetic and functional goals, and create surgical guides. On the day of surgery, we will provide your ideal sedation option, either oral or IV sedation, then carefully extract your tooth.

After sterilization and preparation of the site, we will surgically place the dental implant(s) using the surgical guide. With our CEREC technology, we can then create your crowns or bridges in little more than an hour.

We begin by scanning your mouth and using the images to design your prostheses by computer. That data is then fed to CEREC’s milling machine, which creates your restoration(s) while you wait.

Once we have verified that the implant(s) is stable in your jaw bone, we will attach your temporary crown or bridge that will be functional as the implant(s) heal.

You can leave our office the same day with a brand-new tooth or teeth that will look and feel natural!
