Frequently Asked Questions

Dental implants are the only tooth replacement option that mimic the look, feel, and function of your natural teeth. Implants can restore 99 percent of function, allowing you to eat anything you want while looking completely natural and beautiful.

Dental implants placed by our implant dentist have a 95+ percent success rate, with our comprehensive surgical, restorative, and follow-up care. With proper upkeep they can successfully last your lifetime.

The cost of dental implants varies from patient to patient. During your consultation we’ll take into consideration the number of teeth that you need replaced, how much bone is available or if you will need bone grafting or tooth extractions prior to surgery.

Whether you have one missing tooth or an entire arch, we have all the solutions to accommodate you. For full-arch tooth loss we can place as few as two implants that support an entire denture or bridge, giving you a secure fit.

Dr. Brand places over 1,000 dental implants each year, completing all of your surgical and restorative care in one convenient location.

Very few of our patients do not qualify for implants since Dr. Brand is trained in advanced bone grafting techniques and tooth extractions as well as complex rehabilitation with full arch dental implants. Even if you believe your case may be too severe or you have previously been told you do not qualify for implants, we encourage you to schedule an appointment with our experienced team!

Even if you have been told you don’t have enough bone to support dental implants, you may still be a candidate. Through bone grafting or sinus lift procedures we can rebuild bone in your jaw so you can get any number of implants placed.

This is a concern we often hear. Having dental implants placed is generally not painful and actually feels similar to having a tooth pulled. In fact, many of our patients say they hardly felt anything at all! We are certified to administer IV sedation, if needed.

Because implants are surgically placed into the jaw bone, they require 4-6 months to heal and fully integrate with the bone. However, we streamline this process by offering implant surgery the day of your tooth extraction. In many cases, we can attach a temporary crown or prosthesis that will function comfortably as your implants heal. Each patient case is unique, however, and we welcome you to our Ocala, FL office for a complimentary consultation with Dr. Brand.

Our Ocala, FL office is designed to accommodate patients receiving dental implants. We are equipped to administer IV sedation in our office as well.

We take great pride in our work and take full responsibility for all treatments during your implant process. This high standard of care drastically reduces the chance of complications, and our implant success rate remains very high. If you are experiencing complications with implants placed by a different doctor, we are here to help. Contact our office for a consultation today!

Yes! In most cases we can remove a tooth, or multiple teeth, and place an implant the same day.

As both an implant and restorative dentist, Dr. Brand specializes in placing implants and restoring them with functional, strong sets of new teeth. You won’t need to be referred to another dentist for care; every treatment you need to achieve a beautiful, healthy smile is completed in our Ocala, FL office by Dr. Brand and our experienced team. When placed by our experienced implant dentist and properly cared for, dental implants can last your lifetime. The crown or restoration piece may need to be replaced due to normal wear and tear, but the titanium screw underneath should last many years.

Your dental implants can be cleaned like your normal teeth. We recommend brushing twice a day and flossing daily, and maintaining regular cleanings with your general dentist.
